Angela Khoo Awarded the 13th Golden Phoenix Awards – Benevolence Award 2025

A life transformed by loss, reborn in compassion—this is the journey of Angela Khoo. After losing her beloved mother in 2013, Angela began to think about the value of her life and thus decided to move towards charity. Her journey from sorrow to service has touched countless lives. She practiced “giving and receiving, giving and receiving” through actions and gave new meaning to her life with love. Today, she is recognized with the 13th Golden Phoenix Awards – Benevolence Award 2025 for her outstanding contribution to charity and community well-being.

Since 2013, Angela Khoo has actively participated in a wide range of charitable efforts—from organizing cultural performances and fundraising events, to visiting the elderly, supporting food banks, and distributing essentials to the underprivileged. She brings joy and dignity to every stage she steps on, dance performing not for fame, but to uplift lives.

She has performed in The 10th Macau Sunset Rainbow 2024 International Cultural and Art Exchange, participated in Johor Bahru Community Charity Performance, and supported the Bukit Batok AAC 13th Anniversary celebration. Whether offering food, making donations, performing charity shows, or heartfelt companionship, Angela always conveys hope and warmth with love.

Looking Ahead

Angela believes that doing good and doing business are not mutually exclusive—they stem from the same compassion. To her, philanthropy is a lifelong commitment, and every entrepreneur has a responsibility to give back, regardless of scale. She hopes that through her actions, more elderly people will be encouraged to participate in society, avoid becoming isolated and suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, and encourage more people to volunteer and contribute themselves.
