Brenda Tay Lee Peng

Founder

Brenda Tay began as a beautician, working hard to make a living. When life pushed her to the brink, she chose to begin again—turning experience into judgment, pain into strength, and rebuilding from zero. Years later, she still holds the same intent: through “beauty + education,” help people repair the outside and rebuild the inside so they can rediscover confidence and direction. For her, this is not merely a business; it is a mission.

In 2019, she founded BeautyFull Medispa in Puchong with skin repair and health management at its core, guided by a creed of “people first, customers foremost.” Its expansion from one outlet to multiple locations was driven not by hype but by consistent outcomes, word-of-mouth trust, and repeat clients—steady evidence of leadership that is gentle in manner and firm in resolve.

Her pivotal shift was not changing industries but placing education at the heart of the enterprise—turning beauty into a trainable, repeatable system. Structured programs surface strengths, build character, and enable growth. As the team’s learning velocity and execution improved, clients moved from passive recipients to informed, empowered partners. This methodology—professional repair × human-centered education—forms a durable point of differentiation, shaped by her attentiveness and insight.

When markets fluctuated and ceilings seemed to appear, she resisted quick fixes. She returned to fundamentals: elevating team learning, pursuing innovation to find the second growth curve, and deepening true differentiation. A values-first, long-term approach turned each low point into a new starting line—demonstrating the composure and responsibility expected of a modern woman entrepreneur.

She has also kept the company’s social purpose in view. Through public talks on human nature and leadership, she encourages young people—particularly young women—to speak up, adopt a professional approach, and take a long-term perspective. She is planning an animal shelter to turn “beauty from the heart” into everyday care. For her, women’s excellence is not about opposition; it is about standing alongside the world with capability and kindness.

Thus, what we see is not someone “doing many things,” but someone doing one thing consistently: using expertise to repair, education to illuminate, and integrity—paired with long-term thinking—to safeguard reputation. She also serves as a 4U corporate mentor, has been invited as a JCI mentor, and is a champion in elite public speaking—sustained proof of professionalism and care that ignite possibility in others.

Her story aligns naturally with the spirit of the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award: sustained excellence, entrepreneurial grit, social contribution, and a reputation built to last—most importantly, a standard of professional character worthy of the era, embodied by a woman leader. Placing this award in her hands is not only recognition of today; it is an invitation to countless young women to turn low points into launchpads, make expertise humane, treat innovation as responsibility, and make growth our shared language.
