AiPlay National Luminous Dragon Dance Championship 2026 Concludes Successfully

The inaugural AiPlay Luminous Dragon Dance Championship 2026, successfully organised by the Malaysia Tan’s Lions and Dragons Dance Association, concluded with great enthusiasm, bringing together top dragon dance teams from across the country. The visually striking performances, enhanced by glow-in-the-dark effects, created a vibrant atmosphere and marked a significant milestone in the evolution of dragon dance culture in Malaysia.

After intense competition, the champions of the tournament were announced as follows:
Champion (Dragon King): 柔佛州笨珍玄龙龙狮俱乐部
First Runner-Up: 马来西亚柔佛州士古来八哩半鳌峰宫体育会
Second Runner-Up: 柔佛古庙舞龙队
Fourth Place: 甲洞友谊健身社

The Organising Chairman of the Malaysia Tan’s Lions and Dragons Dance Association, Mr. Mars Tan (陈锦威), expressed his sincere appreciation to all participating teams for their dedication and outstanding performances. He also thanked the sponsors for their strong support of Chinese cultural heritage, the judging panel for their professionalism and fairness, and the audience for their enthusiastic presence and encouragement.

Mr. Mars Tan emphasised that the AiPlay National Glow-in-the-Dark Dragon Dance Championship is more than a competition—it serves as a national platform for cultural exchange, artistic innovation, and the continued preservation of traditional dragon dance. He added that future editions will continue to enhance the event’s quality and reach, ensuring the tradition remains vibrant and relevant for generations to come.
